英語で反対する・賛成する（英語の学習記録 10日目）

私は本日も元気でやっております。

いやー、土曜日で天気がいいと幸せな気分になりますね～

さて、本日の英語学習のまとめです。

英語で賛成する時、反対する時の表現をまとめておきたいと思います。

まずは、賛成する時の表現からです。

That’s a great idea.
I totally agree.
I’m right with you.
I’m all for that

次に、反対を意味する表現です。

That’s a good point, but ...
I see what you mean, but ...
I see where you’re coming from, but...

ex1）That’s a good idea, butI think it’s our new customers who can really tell
us why they selected us this time. 

ex1）I see where you’re coming from, but　don’t you think our prospective customers would be more interested in why our new customers chose us over our current competitors.

日本語でも基本的なコミュニケーション方法だと思うのですが、いきなり否定から入らずに、一旦、相手の意見を受け入れた上で反論するというのが基本ですね。

ちなみに、この上の内容を英語で言いたかったので、下に書いておきます。今日のレッスンでは上手く言えませんでした。

First, I show admiration to the person's idea.I partly agree with the person.
または、
I show partial agreement to the person.

◎指摘された間違い

If this trend continues, developed countries will lose the big companies. (instead of "continue")

意味：この流れが継続したら、先進国は大企業を失うだろう。

偉そうな事を英語で言っていましたが、”3単元のS”を忘れるという凡ミスでした…
